About Laura

Licensed in 1979, I have been serving Venice and its neighboring communities for over 40 years owning and operating my own brokerage. On July 1, 2019, I merged my firm with RE/MAX Palm Realty. In addition to helping my customers with their real estate needs, I am managing broker for the Venice RE/MAX Palm Realty office. I hold a GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute), ABR ( Accredited Buyers Representative, SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and RSPS (Resort Second Home Property Specialist) along with numerous NAR certifications all of which require numerous hours of continuing education to remain on top of the ever-changing real estate industry. Over the years I have been actively involved with Venice Area Board of Realtors including serving as its President in 2007, Treasurer 2017-18, and continuing to chair Data Service committee, along with serving on Finance, Professional Development and Professional Standards committees. In addition to my real estate career I am active in the Gulf Coast Community Foundation where I established an endowment fund in my husband's memory to benefit the Tidewell Hospice organization. In 2013, I was invited to serve as a director on the Board at the Venice Theatre. I currently finished my term as their Chairman. At home I enjoy my garden, cooking, and spending time with my rescued "fur" babies.
